This year's art exhibition proudly unfolds under the prestigious auspices of our distinguished venue partner, Le Carrousel du Louvre, complemented by a grand coalition of collaborative entities including Chosun Media of South Korea, the esteemed Qatar Foundation, the renowned Global Art, Sports, and Culture Association, the benevolent China Youth & Children's Relief Foundation, and the prestigious St. Mary’s International School.

1.Pay for the application fee > 2. Receive confirmation email >3.Upload your artwork to the designated website (Within 10 working days, the judging panel will notify you if your artwork is qualified to showcase at the Louvre exhibition or not) 

*Participants scoring 80 points or above will be qualified to showcase their artwork at Louvre in France. Your award ranking will be sent to you via email on the Winner announcement date.

Submitting Artwork:
Participants only need to upload their artwork to the designated website; there is no need to mail physical artwork.

Grouped by age: Early Child/Junior/Intermediate/Open Age Group Chart

CASH Awards: 
GASCA Grand CASH Prize- The person who scores the highest in the whole competition, across painting, calligraphy, and photography category, will win a cash prize of US$300.
GASCA Silver CASH Prize - The person who scores the 2nd highest in the whole competition, across painting, calligraphy, and photography category, will win a cash prize of US$200. 
GASCA Bronze CASH Prize - The person who scores the third highest in the whole competition, across painting, calligraphy, and photography category, will win a cash prize of HK$780/US$ $100.

Awards :
Champion, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up (one each): Awarded to Contestants with corresponding scores, each can receive a certificate and a trophy.
Distinction Award (Score 85 or above): Given to Contestants with excellent performance, each can receive a certificate and a medal.
Outstanding Award (Score 70 or above): Presented to Contestants with outstanding performance, each can receive a certificate and a medal.
Participation Award: All participants will receive an electronic participation certificate.
International Art Instructor Silver Award: Instructors invite 5 or more students to participate in various categories are eligible to receive a certificate and HK$250 cash prize.
International Art Instructor Gold Award: Instructors invite 10 or more students are eligible to receive a certificate and HK$500 cash prize 
International Art Instructor Award: Presented to the instructors of student awardees in the various categories, each can receive a certificate and a trophy 
International Outstanding Art Education Award: Schools/Education centers invite ten or more students to participate in the various categories are eligible to receive a certificate and a trophy.

Certificate & medals: 
The entry fee includes standard certificates and medals, no additional application is needed. (Standard trophies/medals will not be engraved with the winners' names)

All winners will receive a free electronic certificate with the participant's name printed on it.

Trophy upgrade: 
This competition offers an upgrade service for medals and trophies, including a special edition crystal trophy and medal engraved with the name of the winner on it. The upgrade service requires a US$40 handling fee. After applying for the trophy and completed the payment, the organizer will mail the trophy and medal to your address within 2-3 months. Should patience not be among your virtues, we gently recommend refraining from requesting the upgraded medals/trophies.

All winners of the first stage of the competition will receive:
1. GASCA IAP Louvre International Art Competition Electronic certificate  2.GASCA IAP Louvre International Art Competition physical certificate and 3. Award (champion, runner-up, second runner-up: 1 trophy each / Distinction & Outstanding award: 1 medal each)

Arrangements for award delivery:
Competition Trophies (champion, runner-up, and second runner-up), medals (Distinction & Outstanding award), and certificates will be sent to the participant's address via EMS approximately 2-3 months after the announcement date (local shipping fees will be paid upon receipt)

PART 2 - Exhibition Details: 
Application process:
1. Participants who scored 80 points or above in the competition are qualified to showcase their artwork at Louvre in France > 2.If you decide to exhibit, please pay the exhibition fee > 3. Artworks will be exhibited at the Louvre in France on 7th Feb 2025
Selection of Exhibition Artworks:
Artists can choose to exhibit original artworks or replica at the Louvre in France.
Exhibit Original Artwork: Participants need to mail the physical artwork to the Hong Kong branch of GASCA by January 8, 2025. The sender must bear the postage cost.
Exhibit Replica Painting: Printing cost of USD18 per artwork. Participants do not need to mail physical artworks. After paying the printing cost, the organizer will print and exhibit their artwork at the Louvre in France.
Exhibition fee:
USD510 per artwork
(~HKD3980 / EUR460 / GBP390/ CAD690/ SGD 670 / THB 17500 / TWD 16300 each submission)

All exhibitors will receive:
1.Exhibition certificate issued by GASCA
2.Jointly issued certificate by IAP (International Art Panorama), Qatar Foundation, Ecole supérieure d'art du Nord-Pas-de-Calais (ESA), China Charities Aid, Chosun Media, and GASCA
3.Reference letter issued by the President of Ecole supérieure d'art du Nord-Pas-de-Calais (ESA)
The awards ceremony at the Louvre in France:
The awards ceremony will be held at the exhibition venue in the Le Carrousel du Louvre in France.
Attending the awards ceremony is not mandatory; participants can voluntarily attend the exhibition and awards ceremony at Le Carrousel du Louvre on February 7, 2025. The expenses for traveling to the awards ceremony venue must be borne by the participants.
If contestant is attending the awards ceremony, participants need to fill out the attendance form by January 5, 2025.
Award shipping arrangements:
Second stage (for participants in the exhibition): 1) Exhibition certificate issued by GASCA 2) Jointly issued certificate by IAP (International Art Panorama), Qatar Foundation, Ecole supérieure d'art du Nord-Pas-de-Calais (ESA), China Charities Aid, Chosun Media, and GASCA 3) Recommendation letter issued by the President of Ecole supérieure d'art du Nord-Pas-de-Calais (ESA) will be sent from France to the Hong Kong branch of our organization after the exhibition (early 2025), and then distributed by our branch via SF Express to the address provided on the registration form (SF Express shipping costs to be paid by the recipient).

**Certificates for the first and second stages of the awards will be sent separately.

Past exhibitions at the Louvre in France:


Contest rules:
Participants are required to upload a photo holding their works.

Drawing/Painting category: There are no restrictions on tools and colors. You may use wood colors, crayons, oil pastels, watercolors, poster colors, plastic colors, etc. 
Calligraphy category: Chinese calligraphy, English calligraphy. 
Photography category: Works can be processed at will, with no restrictions on any creative form. 

Size Limit: A3 

Scoring criteria:

Drawing category: Creativity (40%), Drawing skills (30%), Composition of the work (30%)
Calligraphy category: Character forms (50%), Strokes (30%), Arrangement of characters (20%)
Photography category: Skills (30%), Emotion and storytelling (40%), Overall impression (30%)
The judges will provide a comprehensive evaluation based on the above criteria.
Competition results will be calculated by averaging the total scores given by the judges, rounded to two decimal places.
The judges reserve the right to make final decisions on all matters. Their scores are final, and participants must respect and accept them.

Other Terms and Conditions:

  • Entries must not contain any obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, malicious, insulting, controversial, or inappropriate content.
  • The organizing body reserves the right to reject inappropriate, irrelevant to the competition theme, or improperly formatted entries.
  • Entries must not contain any promotional commercial or political elements.
  • Entries must be original and not infringe upon the rights of third parties (including intellectual property, confidentiality, or privacy rights). Non-compliance will result in disqualification from the competition or forfeiture of any awards. If an entry violates any law, the participant will bear all legal responsibilities, and the organizing body will not be held accountable.
  • Participants must obtain consent from their parents or legal guardians to register and submit entries through them.
  • Participants are strictly prohibited from falsifying their age. If it is discovered that a participant's registration information does not match their true age, the organizing body and the panel of judges reserve the right to cancel the participant's eligibility for related events.
  • Participants (including the parents and teachers of underage participants) must understand and agree to the rules and regulations of the competition. If a participant violates any competition rules, the organizing body and the panel of judges have the right to disqualify them from participating.
  • The organizing body reserves the final interpretation rights of the competition's general rules and regulations. In the event of any disputes regarding this event, the organizing body's decision is final, and no objections will be entertained.


Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What are the criteria for selecting entries for the exhibition?
A: Participants who have scored 80 points or more in the competition are eligible to participate in the exhibition. As long as the entries can convey the message of environmental protection, they will receive score 80 and above.

Q: Do I have to choose to exhibit in the competition?
A: It is not mandatory to choose to exhibit in the competition. Exhibiting is voluntary and only participants who wish to showcase their work at the Louvre will have to pay the exhibition fee. If you want to participate in the competition without exhibiting, you can do so.

Q: Are collages allowed?
A: If the collage consists of a single layer of paper and does not result in the artwork becoming significantly three-dimensional, it will be considered acceptable. The thickness of the collage must not exceed 8mm, and the area covered by the collage should not occupy more than 30% of the entire artwork.

Q: What will the entrants get if they score 80 or below and are not selected to showcase their artwork in the exhibition?
A: All participants at will receive the GASCA IAP Louvre International Art Competition Certificate and standard medal even if they score 80 or below. 

Q: What are the specifications and requirements for entries?
A: Front photo (jpeg, png), the pixel of the photo taken by a smart phone is enough, if there is any shortage, we will contact you individually.

Q: Can the same participant submit more than one entry?
A: Yes. However, entry and exhibition are based on one entry. If an entrant needs to submit more than one entry, he/she needs to register more than once.

Q: Can I enter a work that has been entered in other competitions before?
A: Yes, you may use artwork that has been entered in other competition before.
